We are currently seeking a Pharmacist to support our clinic in Ukiah, CA. This position, reporting to the Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner, can be either full-time or part-time and is an excellent opportunity for someone excited to make an immediate and lasting impact in a growing company.

Position Overview:  
​
As a Pharmacist at New Life Clinic, you will work with a medical team that is committed to patient success and to upholding rigorous medical and scientific standards in our practice. The Pharmacist will be responsible for providing drug therapy to patients in our care and for ensuring the safe and effective use of medications, among other duties. Because our clinic is highly regulated by credentialing agencies, it will be your responsibility to provide clinical pharmaceutical care to New Life Clinic patients according to professional standards and state and federal legal requirements. New Life Clinic is a source of safety and healing for patients, so compassion and commitment are values that each staff member should demonstrate. As part of a unified team, all employees are expected to dive into new challenges and responsibilities, so this position requires an openness to learn and a willingness to do what it takes for the team to make progress each day. Primary Duties:
​

Review and execute Physician’s prescriptions.

Maintain the ordering, stocking, dispensing, and labeling of medicine.

Listen carefully to patients to interpret their needs and issues and offer information and advice.

Prepare medicine, using Physician-ordered dosages and material for each individual patient.

Comply with all applicable laws, rules, regulations, and procedures.

Automated dispensing machine experience preferred.

Excellent communication skills.

Thorough understanding of dosage administration and measurement, chemical compounds, medical brands, etc.

Ensure confidentiality of information, documentation, and assigned records as required by organization policies, and local, state, and federal guidelines.

Maintain records for controlled substances.

Other duties as necessary.

Minimum Requirements:
​
-
All licenses and certifications needed to fulfill the duties required of a Pharmacist
-
California-Licensed Pharmacist.

Minimum one year of Pharmacist experience.

Recent/previous work experience in a substance use disorder setting (preferred).

Ability to work the hours and days required by position, including daily 5:30 am start times.

Must pass background check and urine drug screen.
